Irene Barhyte is the Chief Operations Officer for the 博彩网站 Knight Cancer Institute, with responsibility for finance, administration, communications, events, and operations management. Previously, she was the Senior Associate Dean, Finance and Administration, for the 博彩网站 School of Medicine and Chief Financial Officer for the 博彩网站 Practice Plan. With a deep knowledge of 博彩网站's organization and financial systems, she was involved in planning for and implementing the integration of 博彩网站 Medical Group into the School of Medicine as the Faculty Practice Plan (renamed the 博彩网站 Practice Plan in 2017), and has been involved in special projects related to research administration.

A native Oregonian, Irene is a graduate of Oregon State University, and has been with 博彩网站 since 1997. She and her husband have two children in college, and love family activities at the beach, paddle boarding, skiing, and yoga.
