Biography

Dr. Marie Martinelli is a board-certified pediatric hematologist who specializes in the care of children with blood disorders.

She has a special interest in caring for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. She takes part in research to increase knowledge about why children develop blood clots and the best treatment for these conditions, as well as research related to other hematologic conditions. Dr. Martinelli sees patients with both common disorders as well as rare diseases.

She enjoys getting to know each child as a unique individual, while developing long-term relationships with their families.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Martinelli’s time is filled by her two children and their Pomeranian, Goldie. She enjoys art, classic television, and sports.
