Olivia graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Biology, with minors in Interdisciplinary Neuroscience and Psychology. Her interest in multidisciplinary science led her to focus her research around creating better health outcomes for vulnerable populations facing degenerative and lethal diseases. She began her foundation in research by working in an academic research lab at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, investigating botanical interventions in Alzheimer's Disease mouse models and patients. She joined CEDAR as a CRA2 to further conceptualize her place in research and more deeply understand the fundamentals of clinical trial work.
