Biography
Patti is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at Oregon Health and Science University (博彩网站) School of Nursing. Her current appointment is Per Diem Faculty teaching in both the face-to-face UG program and the RNBS program.
Patti has been a nurse for 46+ years and a proud 博彩网站 School of Nursing alumni. Patti's professional nursing practice has included Critical Care with a Cardiac focus, Ambulatory and Population-Based nursing, and management and leadership in acute, ambulatory, and population-based nursing practice. Patti joined the Nursing Faculty Team at 博彩网站 in 2013.
Patti loves to engage students in shared learning contexts by employing traditional and nontraditional training, teaching, and coaching methodologies. Patti's theory of education is founded on constructivism, which believes that each student/learner comes to the learning context with experience and competence.
