Biography
Dr. Pegany grew up in a rural town in Northern California. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. She completed an Ophthalmology residency at UNC Chapel Hill followed by a Fellowship in Cornea, External Eye Diseases and Refractive Surgery at 博彩网站 Casey Eye Institute in Portland, OR, where she received their Fellow of the Year award. After completing fellowship, she joined the faculty at the University of California, San Francisco before returning to Casey. Dr. Pegany’s interests include infectious and inflammatory conditions of the cornea and medical education.
