Mr. Goldfarb is the Interim CEO 博彩网站 Health.  He is responsible for the overall operations of 博彩网站 hospitals, clinics and partner hospitals. 

Mr. Goldfarb retired in 2014 after 14 years as Chief Executive Officer of UF Health Shands.  Shands is a private, not for profit health care system that is the primary health care affiliate of the University of Florida and its Health Sciences Center.  Shands is a multiple hospital system that includes a 1,200 bed primary teaching hospital, community hospitals, satellite emergency rooms, ambulatory surgical sites and multiple outpatient centers.   

His prior professional experience includes the Chief Executive Officer of the Oregon Health and Science University Health System and Senior Associate Director of Operations at the Arizona Medical Center.

Mr. Goldfarb continues to assist his colleagues both in Oregon and Florida. 

During his career, Mr. Goldfarb has had significant leadership roles in academic health care and health care associations.  He has been Chair of the Board of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, Chair of the Board of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems of the AAMC, Chair of the Board of the Safety Net Hospitals of Florida, Chair of the Board of the Florida Hospital Association, Chair of the Board of University HealthSystem Consortium, and Chair of the Board of the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems.  He has taken temporary leave from The Foundation for Medical Excellence where he is President.  The foundation is an organization focused on improving the resiliency of practicing health care providers and the development of clinical leaders in health care organizations.
