It is necessary for all members of the University community to understand the possible impact of regulations regarding the export of restricted commodities and technical data to foreign persons and countries. Although the majority of University activities falls within exceptions to the export control laws, it is possible that some commodities and technical data may not be freely shared with foreign persons or exported without a license.
