I am originally from a small town in northeast Iowa. I moved to St. Paul, MN to attend Macalester College, where I studied Latin American literature and biology. I attended medical school at Stanford University School of Medicine and completed both my anesthesia residency and pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Stanford Medical Center/Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. After completing my training, I joined the faculty at Stanford in the pediatric anesthesia group. My family and I later relocated to the Pacific Northwest, and I joined the faculty at 博彩网站 in the division of pediatric anesthesia. Since 2016, I have worked for the Northwest Permanente Medical group. My time is divided between Kaiser patient care sites and Doernbecher Children's Hospital. My primary academic interests include global health service, education and training, as well as physician wellness and peer support.

I thoroughly enjoy working with children and families. I strive to meet each patient and their family where they are, providing reassurance and confidence in the perioperative process.
