Past Projects
Crisis and Transition Services
Crisis and Transition Services (CATS) was the program that launched our work in 2017 with OHA and community partners. CATS provided transitional crisis and stabilization care for youth in mental health crisis. The DAETA Team developed a data system to track youth and program outcomes and to help inform program improvements.
In January 2023, CATS was replaced by Stabilization Services (SS), which is service for youth and families provided in Oregon's statewide Mobile Crisis Intervention Services continuum. CATS was instrumental to the development and launch of this new statewide program. In June 2023, a CATS Final Report, which chronicles the project, was published.

Youth System of Care Evaluation
In 2024, the DAETA Team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the youth System of Care (SOC) in Oregon. Various components of the SOC, including behavioral health, juvenile justice, education, child welfare, developmental disability services, and other child-serving agencies, were evaluated. The resulting final report provides a comprehensive overview of Oregon's youth SOC, including areas where Oregon is leading and areas that need further development. The results of this evaluation will be used to drive the System of Care Advisory Council's (SOCAC) 20256-2029 strategic plan.
